Vineyard 36 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Tried alongside the regular Cane Estate Cab. The reserve has a slightly thicker or more velvety consistency and mouth feel. Berry fruit such as blueberry and raspberry seem to predominate, along with some mineral taste and a hint of smoke and mocha. Perhaps a little smoother and longer finish than their regular Cab. Pleasant, but not exciting. Will be interested to see how it does with a little more shelf time.
