Large coravin pour left to aerate for more than an hour in the glass. I liked this a lot. In my cellar since release. Bright acidity, nice texture, floral a tart cherry and minerals on the nose. Layered and complex but somewhat subtle. Classy, bright acidity and intense with more air but not over-ripe. Burgundian-style balance. Plenty of life ahead. Lovely!

The wine is bursting from the glass of red tart cherries, sweet cherries, raspberry, rhubarb, tea, hints of spices, iron and some candied red fruit as well. Quite fragrant and welcoming on the nose. On the palate the wine shows great freshness with lively and crunchy acidity. This wine is pretty good to drink now probably entering its peak. I wonder if some earthy tones will appear in a year or two. 92p+ bordering 93p for me (I like my …

Amazingly primary and strong fruit still, although some savory notes are coming through on the nose and palate. Maybe it’ll keep improving? It’s almost like the thick fruit is blocking something more interesting lingering beneath. That said, it’s quite good and easy drinking, so no real complaints. Maybe just was hoping for more.

Developed some good spice. Concentration coming through so nice at cellar temp. Gets a little sappy as it warms up. But in a great spot showing some secondary development.

Patience did pay off on this very nice offering from Tyler. Small red berries, medium weight and soft tannins on the end. Fruit is well integrated and there is a slight savory element. Sophisticated and delicious.

Shared with friends at a pre-Father's Day "Pork & Pinot" bash I hosted in the backyard.

Pale ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with strawberry, red cherry, vanilla, cedar, leather and forest floor. Medium taste of strawberry, red cherry, cedar and forest floor. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good Californian Pinot Noir. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with duck, pork or veal.

Decant 30 min; darker ruby, classic ripe pinote on nose; medium bodied with vibrant finish; mostly dark berry with pleasant spice at end; still very primary as expected, but very enjoyable

Strawberry, cherry jam and hint of smoke on the nose. Dry. Nice acidety. Vivid ripe fruit. Red berries and oak on the palate. Light and fresh tannins. Long, fruity, exit. Another hit from Tyler 👌

An excellent Pinot Noir from Tyler. Succulent red fruit on a smooth entry. Great mouthfeel and nice red berry notes from beginning to end. Not overly complex but much more approachable at this juncture than some recent vintages. I really enjoyed the flavor profile and reminded me of some of the first wines that made me fall in love with Tyler wines and the winemaking of Justin Willett. Glad I have more of this to enjoy.

I know this one is a baby, but wanted to see what Justin did with the vaunted 2018 vintage. If this is any indication we are all in for a treat in our glass. This wine came out swinging. Savory earth notes married to pure and luxurious red berries. Excellent mouthfeel and immediately palate pleasing. Sophisticated and complex, but flavor-filled and accessible now. I know my Tyler's sing if I am patient but it will be hard to keep my …

Classic Santa Barbara notes of cherry, cola (a dash) and wet earth with a bright, peppery — and hella long — finish. Where this wine surpasses many local interpretations is in mouthfeel. This is supple, seductive juice.
