Domaine Beaufumé Chablis

My first sampling from this producer.... On nose: minerals and almond skin. On palate: follow through of above notes, in addition to flint, smoke, lemon rind , warm stones, and as it opens after a 1 hour decant, pleasant notes of fresh thyme. Iean , elegant classic.....can age for 5 more years easliy.

Clear light yellow. Intense Chablis nose, wet gravel, chalk, lemon zest and orchard fruit. Dry delicious stony lemon flavours and a dry gravelly lemon finish. I drank a fair bit of the 2016 and this is as expected, even better.
