2 glasses from Coravin. More approachable and ready to go now, compared to last bottle tried 3 years ago. Balanced with tannins softened now and light to medium acidity. On first pour bright fruit dominated by cherry on the nose and palate with the wine changing noticeable in the glass over an hour. Based on evolution in glass I prefer the initial pour and would not decant at this point.

It just doesn’t get much better than this! Drinking beautifully. Rich Cherries with dry oak long coasting finish. Opened to spike the spag sauce and now it’s spiking me-Bellisimo!

A feminine expression of BdM, cooler climate, more translucent. The way I like . Can taste the Slavonian oak, but not overpowering. 14%ABV. Get some. I agree with WYATTHESOM and BURGUNDY_72 below.

One word “Classic” Sight: medium Garnet color with Brick red and orange around the rim. Nose: The aromatic Sangiovese you should find in Brunello is here and has everything you need. The sour cherry and cranberry red fruit to the Rosemary and clove then raisin and leather it’s complex uplifting and makes you want to fully take in what the wine has to offer. Taste: The wines palate again shows a superlative example of classic Brunello at this price point. …

Classic, elegant style of Brunello. Red fruit, tobacco, herbs, dusty earth, orange zest. Subtle and elegant. Medium plus to high acidity. Tannins are slowly softening, medium to medium plus. Good length. Great to see a Brunello that isn’t too big/over oaked or extracted. This one is a medium-bodied, classic style that I prefer.

This opens up beautifully after a few hours of air. There is a savoriness, but with an intriguing tartness to the sour red fruited tones of sour red cherries, Raspberries, cranberries, licorice, violets, roast herbs, sweet tobacco, earth notes, savory spices, and crushed rocks. The Medium/full bodied feel is silky and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity and refined, medium+ tannins that are all backed up by a lengthy finish. This is a killer value and insanely traditional Brunello. This hits …

Quite complex and vibrant. Dark garnet color with a bit of an orange rim. Aromas of asphalt, forest floor, leather garrigue, and bramble berries. Pallet is full of cooked black cherry/raspberry fruit with hints of baking spices, balsamic vinegar and grilled herbs. Touch of pepper spice and smoky oak on the medium/long finish. Tannins are still quite firm and the acidity is still quite crisp. Nicely balanced and really enjoyable.

90 min decant but I dont think that was enough. Limited complexity and never really opened up. Did feel like it was improving and started getting some fruit around hour 3. Are the remaining 5 worth the cellar space?

Has more of everything compared to the 2017 and it’s just a touch more elegant and soft around the edges. Plum notes, spices, leather and tobacco. A complete wine.

Pale ruby, browning on edge. Aromas of violets, ripe red cherry, and dill, fennel and bay leaves, and a hint of nutmeg. Some bite of tannins, bright acids, medium ripe yet tart cherry, cranberry, dill and bay leaves. Lengthy, and very pleasurable

Again this is aiming (I think) for an elegant style of Brunello, leaning red fruited, freshness over power. Not hugely complex and can do with a couple more years of smoothing out tannins, but is decent QPR and enjoyable.

Translucent red. A savoury, red fruited Brunello favouring elegance and balance over power. Lighter than most 2016s. I think it's pretty good as long as you dont expect a blockbuster.

Too early for this I think. Tight with grainy, teeth coating tannins. On day 2 a little more complexity and mushroom on the nose showed up and was still drinking well day 3. Will wait at least a year before the next bottle.

Medium minus ruby color. Lovely color and outstanding from the get go. Classic, taut, enough fruit. An elegantly styled wine from an elegant vintage that still sits well. A total charmer.

PnP’d. Transparent red color with brown edges. Rustic, tannic, fairly light wine. Smoky elements and pretty much zero fruit. Not my style, but wasn’t bad.

Dark purple core with bricking edges. Very aromatic - black and red fruits, leather, and herbs. Medium body with a very bright beaming acidity that accentuates the red fruit and brings a slate like minerality. Nice herbal notes on the finish. A more elegant style that does remind me more of a higher elevation chianti classico. Very good. Drinking well now but definitely has plenty of life - came off as somewhat youthful still.

A nicely structured but lighter brunello than accustomed to. Verging on Chianti riserva or Vino Nobilo. I wouldnt wait on drinking other bottles, since i cant see the complexity for much change.

Little bit of brett on the nose which subsided after 20-30 mins. Nice acidity and fruit with some toasted oak elements. Pretty consistent with all of the other 2010 BdM wines that I've had. Seems like you can't go wrong with anything from '10 in Toscana.
