There is a lot about this wine to like and the tasting notes on the wine are accurate. Spices and rich berries almost dried fruit even akin to a ripasso or amarone— so really enjoyable to drink. The tanins however are not as delivered the flavours are all a rush and it lacks structure and backbone and there is no way I’d lay this down. So the question is it worth the price?
