Domaine de Bégrolles Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie

Winter has begun, so why am I drinking a summer wine? Because I'm eating shellfish and the wine is sitting there taking space in my fridge. And not bad at all. Clean, saline, just slightly off-dry, not super leesy but with a little heft. Really refreshing, crisply acidic. Makes me look forward to oysters and steamed clams and mussels and summer.

Nice acidity. Great with acidic salad.

K&L Hollywood Loire Tasting (K&L Wines, Hollywood) : Lime, floral notes, touch of lees, currant. Great acidity. Light body. Very simple yet refreshing wine.
