Tesco Finest Chablis 1er Cru

Is this the best wine in this UK supermarket range? Very possibly. We have found the reds fairly ordinary and of other whites, only their Pouilly Fume or Sancerre would come close. This was a wine well balanced between acidity and the apple/citrus fruit. Made by the well respected Union de Viticulteurs and a blend of sites. There was little evidence of oak but the wine did have some body and length. It drank well with salmon.
