Crusius, Schlossbockelheimer Felsenberg Riesling GG Trocken, Nahe

Complex, viscous Riesling wine, made in a somewhat old-fashioned style. Bright green-flecked straw yellow in color and a very expressive nose with scents of ripe pears, mango, honey, candied fruits and lots of mineral nuances. The elegant and quite oily palate reveals abundant juicy yellow fruit and a nice refreshing acidity, but the wine has too much inherent sweetness for my liking. Harmonious aftertaste.
