Emirates : This was great, and preferred to the Drouhin Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons 2022 which preceded it. Compared to that this has a taughtness, a lime-y-ness, within a roundness and generosity. Loved this and would seek out, much more so than the Chablis.

Lemon gold colour. A big mealy, leesy nose with hints of peach & whetstone. The palate is full & round with the meal & peach following thru in the mouth too, good acidity. Should keep reasonably well.

2023 New Year Days in Hawkes Bay; 12/28/2022-1/3/2023 (Hawke's Bay) : Intense fruity flavours, white peach, nectarine. Nutty, slightly mineral and smoky notes. Rich and moderate creamy texture, m+ body, solid acidity. Still young. Ap 5/5, Ar 13/15, Palate 17/20, Overall 3+2/10 Total 90+/100

Mixed feelings here. Very much in the ripe, funky, slightly bretty, slightly dirty mould and probably not miles away from a classic cheesy Burg. Nice ripe fruits and perhaps even oxidative touches. Drink over 2008 and 2009.
