Just dug out the last 2 bottles from a stack of boxes, this continues to be fresh-tasting and excellent, enjoyed with St. Louis ribs.

Deep red Cognac. Nose of aggressive red wine, palate taste of barely-ripe red berries and stone fruit, texture of full-bodied white wine, finish is built towards the white, with a savory red tilt. I am probably not very objective about this wine.

This dry rosé is not a rosé in the traditional sense. It is a blend of 3 red varieties (Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Poulsard) and 2 white varieties (Chardonnay, Savagnin), using traditional red vinification methods, then matured in oak barrels for 3 years. It's not intended to be served chilled like your usual Provence quaffer, the Corail should be served at cellar temperature.
