Drank as part of the Pressoir session with Rita Jammet. I did not know the full story of the wine - how it had started as a house champagne for a restaurant and when the restaurant closed the champagne kept going. It's an easy drinking one. Good QPR. From the wine list at Legacy Records (NYC). Disgorgment date not listed. First time with this producer. This is an easy drinking rose. Pretty pink salmon color in the glass. Nose of red cherries. On the palate this is creamy and red fruited, more rich in mouth feel than lean. Very approachable and a nice aperitif before lunch.

Ordered a glass of this off the wine list at the Lambs Club in New York while we were waiting for our table. This is a negociant brand run by the family which owned the now closed La Caravelle restaurant in New York. 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier with the addition of red wine from Ay and Bouzy.
