I'm actually surprised by the previous comments, this wine gives a soft mouth feel for a powerful and vivid impression, with dark fruits, licorice and a good minerality, I believe it can still go a few more years.

As others have observed slightly underpowered for Moulin a Vent, without the delicacy or fragrant to compensate. Slightly underwhelming.......

Lighter style than I normally prefer from this region, but it's a true and enjoyable representation of the vintage and grape, so ultimately I'm happy. Very fresh, light toward medium-bodied, solid food wine, but something I would only seek out in better vintages.

Random Notes from Travels in France; 4/6/2012-4/14/2012 (Paris, Loire, Alsace) : This is also very good but it is a little lighter and softer than the highly structured Domaine du Tremblay. My least favorite of the trio M. Janin was pouring.
