Un po' più alcoolico e più barbera che ruchè in questa bottiglia appena aperta. Diventa più ruchè il giorno dopo e io lo trovo più interessante e vegetale.

Wow, what an improvement a couple of years made on this wine. Beautiful spicy cigar box nose. Very little viscosity, light red fruit, with an an amazing cinnamon, clove, spice notes dominating the palette. Very similar to K Cellars 99pt Grenache, without as much fruit. For $14, amazing QPR.

PnP.

Super bon.

Medium garnet red translucent color in the glass with aromas of red cherries, raspberries and hint of leather. Light to medium bodied mouthfeel with the wine’s flavor notes well mirroring its aromas. Modest acidity with pleasant finish.

Still a great easy drinker. It has improved some over the last year. Recent tasting notes have it covered.

Love this wine. Certainly worth more than $15.50. Almost as light as pinot noir, but earthier.

This has a fresh, rich nose of fragrant rose petals married to the lively fruitiness of a Barbera. Despite the light color, the texture is full and a bit chewy which adds some heft to the experience. Has a definite piquant quality on the palate that adds to the brightness of the wine. A happy wine.

I thought Denny profiled the wine quite accurately, it is a great rustic-style Italian wine with lots of fruit and a long finish. I'd add that it had a lot of complexity, with quite a few harmonious notes coming together. Not a lot of tannins, it fits that niche of lighter style wines, such as Barbera, Dolcetto or Beaujolais. Had it with salmon, which paired beautifully. Where I differ from Denny is the score. While it obviously isn't 98 like …

A very pale garnet, tinting to brown at times. On the nose: cherries, red current, anise On the palate: Cooked cherry sauce, tart red berries, and ... cherry poptart? Long finish. Acidic, with rustic tannins. In fact, I would say this wine is pretty rustic all around. Luca Maroni gave it a 98... Until drinking this wine, I never thought about the controversey behind Luca Maroni's scores... but this wine is no where near a 98 as the rest of …

Beautifully floral nose. Grandmother’s flower garden - flowers and greenery.Palate is solid but not super exciting. For a blend of 70% Barbera and 30% Ruche I was expecting more barbera fruit. Rather than getting more interesting upon breathing, it sot of fell off after a couple hours. The bouquet holds the score up for me.

Translucent light garnet. Medium minus body. Great nose of red fruit and herbs. Sort of crunchy on the palate with mineral and floral aspects, great acidity. Piedmont meets burgundy - I really like this wine.

Totally love it, nice easy and drinkable wine off the beaten sangiovese path, as soon as I opened my 1st bottle I immediately ordered another case.

Well worth the price. Though wine access has it rated at 95 which is total BS. However, great drinking wine. Very light, clear in color. But respectable.

Translucent ruby red. Pleasant and opens with air. I picked up cheery and blackfruit as I approached the glass, Some flower, rose or violets. It is very smooth with high acid and light tannins. Marketing blurb: This little wine is a blend of 60% Barbera and 40% Ruche (similar to Pinot Noir) that creates a combo that is PURE SILK! 2020 ‘Fuori Catalogo’ comes from the Morando family, a small producer that has been expertly-crafting wines from the Langhe and …

A mix of Ruché and Barbera. You can very much smell the Ruché -- my wife recognized the telltale roses immediately. In general the aromas are nice. I was not a fan: it seemed too acidic, almost bitter. It is fermented in steel tanks; perhaps some barrel aging would help.
