Found this in my cellar, well past drink by date. Very nice. Might have had more fruit when younger but still drinking well. Good color with no brown edge. Medium long finish.

Decanted an hour plus; fruity (blackberry, raspberry and blueberry) on the nose and palette. Just a hint of garden soil/compost; touch of cedar humidor; still decently tannic and astringent after an hour. Big fan of August Briggs. A hidden gem.

This is solid fruit forward medium to full bodied cab, crisp with hints of tobacco and earthy/dusty texture, fruit flavors: traditional blackberry and plum on the front with vanilla and cocoa in the mid palate, finish has good legs black licorice is a bit over dominant but should soften with time, pretty well balanced, tannins are young. Should age well with time, low 90s.
