Decanted this wine for 40 mins or so. Taste pretty well balanced, yet understated. Fairly short and fruity (cherry) finish. Good tannic presence.

This was a present so we had no qpr relativity. lush strawberries in the nose. Strawberry jam on the palate finishing with damp earth and a hint of toasty bitterness. Light tannin with a very light touch of acidity.
