Clear, pale lemon color. Clean, medium(+) intensity, youthful nose with white flowers, pear, lemon, peach and wet stones (and biscuit when warming up.) Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium body (medium(+) when warmer), medium intensity, medium finish. Good quality, can drink now but potential for short term aging. 19 € is ok. In the beginning it feels fairly slim and "cooler climate styled" but as it warms up a bit more minerality and spice appears.

Been drinking a couple 2020s that I had saved and this one reminded why this just isn’t one for the cellar. So fresh and clean. Drink now!

Great value, nice bottle of arvine. Peach, grapefruit, a touch of orange blossom. Finish slightly sharp for me upon opening, but had softened nicely before long. Good value, should go for a few more years easily.

This is a very nice bottle of wine, but it lacks the floral intensity of the Grosjean Petite Arvine. Given that it is also half the price of the Grosjean wine, I am not going to complain very much. Surprising weight, flavor of pear and (on the aftertaste) more specifically pear brandy. Mineral. Very dry. I served it as an aperitif to a small group of people for whom it was an entirely unfamiliar wine, and they were very positively …

Straw-colored with greenish hints, substantial in the glass. The nose is of great intensity and complexity, predominantly focused on a truly rich fruity bouquet with exotic suggestions of mango and passion fruit, beautiful floral and herbaceous tones of yellow flowers and rosemary flowers. Then, there's an almost chalky note. In the mouth, it's warm, quite soft, and perhaps still slightly outside the potential for balance; freshness and persistence distinguish it. Maybe it's best to wait for a few more months. …

Still a bit on the young side, but opened up in the glass, perfect balance, lots of freshess, complex fruits and a lovely touch of bitterness originating from the minerals, excellent QPR

Dense and structured, unbelievably opulent for a Petite Arvine. Stone fruit, floral and herbal bites (sage), some seasoning. Creamy texture, good acidity even if there could be more detail. Have had this once per year for the last 3 years and so far bottle ages has helped to sharpen the edges. Easily another 5 years to go here.

First time for me with this grape and it is a thrill! Nice body; round mouth feel, green apple, strong minerality, salinity, white flowers and pears. Long flavors! Really a nice wine to sip.

This was part of a "Wines you never had before" tasting I organised for a handful of fellow wine aficionados. The goal was to showcase unusual grapes and regions in all price brackets. My, and the crowd's, wine of the night was the 2014 Ao Yun (China Cab) although Maria Teresa from Quinta do Crasto and VioRous from Kongsgaard went down well as well. First whiff was a very typical creamy sort of perfumed fruit. But then full-fledged pear and …

An Evening of Oddballs and Curiosities : A nice example of Petite Arvine in terms of complexity and delineation but for my palate just not enough acidity. Quickly tiring the palate. TN: Medium+ expressive nose displaying apple candy, pear, honeydow, chamomile. Expressive palate with layers of of the same fruits. With time more and more white flower aromas take the reign. Round and soft but not enough cut to balance all the sweet fruit and floral aromas. Decanting: No decant …

Dry and salty with a pear fruit all the way. Lots of minearilty. Full mouthfeel with a great texture. Quite long finish and impressive pear fruit also on the palate. Even gains intensity over time in the glass. Had this along some raclette which matched pretty well.
