J. Scott Cellars Chardonnay

Nice Chardonnay. Citrus, bright fruit, low oak and hint of earth.

From Naked Wines, this Napa Valley Chardonnay is a good, if not great, wine. Clear and light straw color in the glass; fruit-forward aroma of honeysuckle, with a slight hint of oak; crisp, low-oak style allows flavor of honeysuckle and apple to dominate the palate. Finish became slightly tart, but with the minimal oak presence, that isn't surprising. Overall, a pleasant wine for sipping or for serving with roasted chicken or similar fare.

The wine looks straw colored with fast legs. It smells like grapefruit, apple, pear and hay/straw. It tastes like grapefruit, pear, honeysuckle and butter. The body is light with a polished texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity and low to no tannin. This is a bright wine that taste great. We still have a few bottles from last year that we love of the same wine. This is an excellent wine!

One of the better Chardonnays I've had recently. Nice flavor though a bit on the mild side, smooth with no roughness, nice finish. With all the poor Chardonnays on the market this is a good "buy again" wine.

Crisp, little oak, The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like grapefruit and lime. The body is light. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
