Vini Be Good Pineau d'Aunis Les Athlètes du Vin

This is an interesting wine made from the Pineau d'Aunis grape. On the nose there is raspberry, rose petals and earth. The palate has fresh red fruit, with rose petals, eucalyptus, some salt and white pepper. It has med+ tannins, but the tannins are all in the front of the mouth, so the finish is a little weak. This wine paired beautifully with sockeye salmon broiled with a spicy rub.

Un vin qui a gagné beaucoup avec l'aération. Très peu convaincant au départ, au point de le penser défectueux, il a été meilleur après plus d'une heure de carafe. Servir un peu frais aussi. (16°) Correct, mais un peu mince et végétal à mon goût.
