Weingut Christian Heußler Riesling Spätlese Trocken Roter Sandstein

Shiny clear medium yeloow. Elegant and very dense nose with yellow peach, woodruff and floral honey as well as a minimally nutty botrytis note. On the palate it's juicy with a kicking acidity, good minerality and tastable residual sugar (8.5 g/l) that doesn't harm due to the acidity (also 8.5 g/l) and minerality that act as counterparts. Tasty!

This was easily in my personal top-3 dry Rieslings from 2008 and beat many more expensive wines. It has vineyard peach and apple in the nose and is incredibly juicy on the palate with lots of minerality, too.
