Screwcap. On day 2: very little bricking or fading of color, a dark garnet. Pretty nose of dark fruits and damp earth. Dont seem to have written anything else.

dark fruits and baby poop on the nose. dark fruits on the palate as well. full bodied with a short finish. shows no varietal character to me. no spice, no pepper, no jamminess, nothing that tells me this is zin. granted, this is an aussie and it's more than likely past its prime......but this is not memorable for me at all.

Had this at dinner at Copper Bistro. Found a lovely menthol/eucapyptus note, plenty of pepper, and a silky mouthfeel. I quite enjoyed and kept finding myself going back for more.

pare this with a steak or roast .....a little hot right out of the bottle, but becomes much smoother after an hour. It is a big and fruity wine, with the a pepper and tobacco nose. Oaked, but not overly so

Disappointing; I don't see the RP 91. Clack and pour. Color dark cherry red with black hue. Nose of sweet berry jam, spice, tar, oak, pepper, alcohol, a little meatiness, and some more oak. In the mouth big fruity spicy berry on the attack, a hollow midpalate, and a fairly short finish spiked with alcohol and an extended burning aftertaste of oak. There is little complexity and if drinking it blind I would not place the price point at 20. …
