Not as sweet as I thought it would be, has good balance and a bit of body- not as lean and crisp as their brut. Notes of Asian pear and toast.

Golden color; nose is subtle, some fruit; palate has great blend of fresh fruit, slight tart citrus, nice hints of yeast, some early secondary notes with just slight nuttiness, notable sweetness butchery much in balance, bubbles are not too strong; finish is short-med. Excellent California sparkler, and with a bit more mousse and length could be great. 90
