Not much to say about this, OK wine to drink, but seemed unwilling to yield much flavour. Tight with every now and again a hint of spice.

Nose is a little tight - some leather. Nice creamy mouthfeel, big ropy glycerin legs on the glass. Initial syrupy boysenberry and blackberry sweetness, followed by the inside of an expensive leather handbag. Nice, grippy tannins. Where it falls apart a bit for me is the finish - kind of a stewed, pinched, disjointed ending with a fair bit of heat. Surprising though, given this doesn't feel like a particularly high alcohol wine. As always, I'll revisit tomorrow. A fine, …

Lucky City: Big dense ripe blueberry, raspberry w/touches of smoke, very frty--although not swt, has potent candy notes; very well made, but too frt forward, lacking elegance. Good, but not my style. Not bad w/ppork nuggets

What you see is what you get here. Not much complexity...nice fruit, serious ripeness but nothing more, the finish is the same as the nose on this wine. Well made wine but manage your expectations on this one.

Nice drink but I start to miss the complexity of it. Is my taste evolving??

When I first tasted this wine three years ago I was totally convinced by its smoothness, fruitiness and balance. Now, three years later I find it pleasant, but not stunning. I'm afraid my own taste has developed towards wines that have more tipicity and terroir and are unfortunaltely usually more expensive :-( The second reason is that the wine has not developed a great deal apart from the tannins that have diminished; I do not particularly like this since the …

We found this simplistic and one-dimensional, compared to other Australian shiraz on the market. As least to our taste. Gary V. is right on this one. although it was greatly improved by our pizza ... and also went with our grilled asparagus. We won't rebuy. :(

Tasted during Masterclass by Ben Glaetzer in Amsterdam. Not too jammy. Good balance. Long.

Good but a little disappointing considering it's a Glaetzer wine.

full of fruit, blackberry/plums, balanced tanins for a young wine. Very nice. Excellent value.

Wild at heart. Sweet peppery fruit. Made in the right, modern way: for early drinking. 'Very good indeed' (~15,5-16,5/20 IMB)

Big, plummy, jammy fruit on the palate, though a little one dimensional for my liking. Slightly sappy on the finish. That said this is still a fantastic quaffer for AUD$15.

Glaetzer/Heartland tasting 2006 (Brisbane) : Sweet, ultra ripe fruit nose, almost a little confected. Is there any Viognier in this? Seemed a little light-on on the palate, compared with the expressive nose. Didn’t really do it for me. Drink now.
