Transparent, ruby color. The nose wide open right upon opening showing fresh cherry, cranberry, dried herbs, almonds and dusty gravel road. Light bodied, bone dry and a, tart, cranberry-like acidity. There's not much tannins to speak of and the mouthfeel is more similar to a powerful rosato rather than a red wine. Decent intensity and the finish has a nice, tart, zingy feel to it.
