Green Point Cabernet-Shiraz

Cork disintegrated. Bite at back ofk tongue.

Drinking perfectly right now and maybe for six months to a year more. Aromas of red licorice and cherry with some toasty oak. Medium to full bodied mouthfeel with more cherry and red licorice. Smoothed out tannins finish this well. ($9)

On the nose getting blackcurrant, and some tobacco along with a smell of pot roast. Mouth feel has a hint of sweetness in it, getting raspberry, maybe some cherries and blackcurrant on the palate. Has a nice long finished with a nice pucker factor brought on by some nice tannins. I'm also getting an interesting dusty.slatey taste in the background, nothing nasty actually blends in well. This isn't a bad wine for the price has a lot going on.

Goiod--not great. Needs a little time to open up.

Very avg upon opening, but OK for $9

not as good as their shiraz, but a pretty good wine for $9. very balanced wine, not a fruit bomb by any means.

Fruity, but a little weak.

First tasted this on Saturday and I swore there was mint and chocolate on the nose. Didn't get that with this bottle, but the chocolate powder was still present on the palate. Nice fruit here. Really solid wine for $12.

Good dark color, nice berries on the nose, but somewhat disappointing thereafter given the price.

Dark Red and Purple color with Black Fruit and Plum on the front of the palate and some anise and smoke on the back side with a lingering finish with pepper. I normally enjoy the Cab & Shiraz blends, since they have the best of both grape types, but this one didn't wow me much.

Black raspberries, plum, and roasted meat on the nose. The palate also contains black raspberries, black pepper, warm spices, and jammy in style. Nice peppery finish with firm acidity and soft tannin structure.

GNB Tasting : Nice dark purple color. Dark fruit and some black pepper on the palate. Big mouthfeel, but not seductive in any way. Just didn't do anything for me. It's decent, but not yummy, and if I'm going to drink something Aussie, it better be yummy... 86+ b/c maybe this didn't do well b/c it didn't fit in with the other wines being tasted.
