Hubert Lignier Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes

Probably a bit past peak. Shows tons of structure and the firmmess of the vintage in terms of austerity and tannins, but the fruit has dissipated away, yielding a wine with leather, mushrooms, and autumnal earth. Not much going on in the palate department -- a bit dilute and lacking in flavour.
