From magnum - while enjoyable, this was opened too young! Will wait a few years before opening the next bottle.

Really enjoyable and in a perfect spot. Didn't needed much time to display all that this wine has in it. Dark red fruit, almost fully integrated tannins, very smooth with a lovely but not extremely long finish. Didn't decant, poored a glass from the bottle and enjoyed it almost straight away. Will try again tomorrow after vacuvin'd most of the bottle on the first night, let's see if it improves further from here. But all in all a very enjoyable …

Might have been an off- bottle. From magnum. Fairly muted nose even after 1.5h of decanting. Slight austere, bitter notes on the palate. Disappointing as I’ve had many Les Cruzelles in previous vintages that were fantastic

Deep red. Youthful tannins and acidity, earth, herbaceous, rustic, good fruit, light toasted oak, well balanced. Medium bodied and medium finish. Enjoyable win

Showed initial promise upon opening, but dropped away quickly. Somewhat austere, with a hint of greenness.

Not as pungent as the lovely 2016 vintage. The nose kicks of with red fruit, but with aeration it builds a bit more darker fruits. The aromas are expectedly young with a certain “Syrah rawness” to it that transforms with time to a cassis, blackberry and raspberry mix. Some tobacco and liquorice with a lightly charry smokey note. Svært mørk på farge, godt balansert kompleks duft. Fyller hele munn og svelg med kraft og fylde. Fin syre bærer en balansert og rund smak med en lang avslutning. Denne kan drikkes nå. Nydelig. Tåler mye lufting.

Rich and seductive aromas with a clear touch of plums and coffee. Some herbs, licorice and wood in the background. Medium-bodied and juicy wine with a good mouthfeel of plums, spices, mocha and wood. Nice fresh finish. Not detailed. Just good.

Blend of 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Beautiful wine, juicy and rich, complex, with slightly rough edges that give the wine character, slightly reductive even. Medium+ intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark chocolate, roast beef, clove, espresso, vanilla, cedar, toast, old books. Soft, silky, juicy plums create a forward styled Romeo with earthy, dark red fruits and back notes of licorice. To be enjoyed on release, the wine was made from blending 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
