It’s a very juicy wine, it was a bit sweet with light berries. Served with oxtail country gravy and it didn’t change the flavor much. I wouldn’t turn my nose up at it, but I won’t be seeking it out. There are much better Malbecs in this price range (see Alamos).

Almost ten years and had matured into a decent wine. Subdued nose with a little spice, tannins nicely integrated, a good expression of Malbec and worked as a wine for a cold night

Lovely deep cherry flavors that went very well with bison filet at Teds Montana Grill. Very similar to Alamos Malbac

Nose is like freshly crushed raspberry. Dark fruit flavors, black cherry, plum, blackberry. Soft tannins and white pepper spice on the finish. Slightly briny.

This wine is nearly opaque and dark ruby in color. It's medium to full bodied with a lovely smoky and floral scent! Smoke, dark cherries and mocha on the mouth with a hint of black tea in the middle and a lingering tobacco finish. Very complex and balanced for a 12 dollar wine!

At El Mirasol in Buenos Aires, fantastic steak restaurant with a very authentic Argentinian menu. Popped and poured, drank over an hour with rib-eye and short ribs... Dark blood red color. Nose was black fruits, herbs, some barnyard which blew off. Rich dark fruit profile, plums, cherry. Savory notes, baking spice, anise, cloves. Rich mouthfeel - would have guessed something other than Malbec (Rhone maybe..)> Finishes medium. Very young, will benefit from a couple years again, my guess it will …
