Wow!!! Its pedigree is pretty special, but that's no guarantee - but this is wonderful chardonnay. Rich, lifted, vital. Perhaps better than the 2012 and 2015 versions of this. Drinking beautifully and will do so for quite some years.

Powerful wine. Echos of Giaconda (the same winemaker) in its flavour profile and forcefulness. White and yellow peach, spicy french (and expensive / tight) oak.

Colour: Nice clear yellow Nose: elegant, fruity, some citrus, tangerine Palate: light medium body, citrusy, elegant with slight bitter notes taste. Slightly oaky coming out - in comparison to last year.
