An excellent wine. Plummy and dark cherry with juicy tangy spiciness in the mouth. Tannin is still palpable and will age longer. Too bad it is my last bottle.

a sharper somewhat tart taste - no where as good as Delas Frères Crozes-Hermitage Domaine des Grands Chemins ( http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=636163 ) but then that extra $10 bucks is the difference

I suppose I can comment on the bright plummy, toasty oak, smoky and spicy nose. The fabulous balance. acidity and 13.5% alcohol. But that is really not necessary. Just go and buy some. It is that good.

Hat off, gentleman. A wonderful wine for a steal. Gorgeous nose of plum, smmooke, spicy oak and dark cherry. Mouthwatering juiciness with bright acidity and delicious dark fruit. 13.5 % alcohol. Decent length. Lovely. Outstanding. Dare I say worthy of a good CdP and superior CdR.
