Ludovic Montginot Morgon Côte du Py

Light, cherry, acidic. It fit the bill for a weeknight dinner with pasta.

Drinking this wine too soon, wish I had waited a few years. At this point, a pleasant quaffable Morgon, more dark fruits than red, with light acidity and a lingering finish, but I believe this will develop with a few years of age.

Nose of cherry, earth, herbs. Medium weighted mouth gives impressions of low pitched fruit, with a bit of a disjointed transition to the finish. I think this just needs lots more time to come together, but has substantial promise.

Med-High tannin, high acidity, light body. Strawberry, raspberry, leather, floral, earthy/spicy. Paired well with spicy fajitas. Ever better with dark chocolate.
