Dark fruits, still hefty chewy tannins, black tea. Not a refreshing light on its feet northern cool climate type of syrah. Medium to full bodied. Nice acidity. Very dry and puckering due to tannins. Still all in all I did enjoy it. Maybe needs a few more years in the cellar.
