They don't push this out. Just arrived in California. Same blend as Chianti Classico Ama. 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot. The thing that is changed is 20% in barrique 2nd and 3rd passage for just 60 days. The idea is it gives it a little bit more depth. Savory and veal stock on the nose. Or some sort of stock. Savory on the palate. That's a big rose but not in a bad way. Its a big boy of a wine. …

97% sangio, touch of merlot. 20% barrique for 60 days for depth. Very rich nose and earth quality to it. Moderate plus complexity than many other roses at that price.

Deep salmon core. Bright nose of strawberry, rhubarb and field flowers. Medium-bodied, with a flavor profile that deftly straddles the line between red and white, mirroring the nose, with the gentlest of tannic hints on the finish. The brightness and concentration of flavor speaks to the quality of the underlying fruit. Lovely.
