From a vineyard planted in 1975 and 1990. Aged in oak barrels for 10 months. 13,5% alcohol. Pale lemon yellow color. Still relatively youthful and thoroughly classic white Burgundy nose with quite intense aromas of ripe golden apples, some savory spice, light creamy tones, a little bit of crunchy quince, sweeter hints of pineapple jam and pear compote and a floral touch of apple blossom. The wine feels medium-bodied yet relatively concentrated on the palate - it feels that there …

Finally a very nice bottle, the wood is absorbed and the fruits is evident. Complex and with a long finish.

Hazelnut and citrus aromas and flavors, but ultimately pinched and not generous on the palate.

Nice end to these bottles. Lemon curd and hints of pear, this was expansive but also had lithe minerality and bright acid. Hints of clove oil gave it a nice spicy edge that complimented a ham beautifully.

Still plenty of freshness, but this is starting to round out a bit. Fruit is fuller, more lemon curd and mandarin, but doesn't lack vibrancy. A wonderful mineral profile in the mid palate, followed by a rather toffee tinged finish. Starting to peak, but oh so delicious with buttery sauces.

Excellent St Aubin that shows great finesse. Green apple and and lemon on the front palate with a nice chalky acidity supporting very subtle toasty oak, this is lithe and complex at the same time. Very racy and even nervy at times. Does wonders with smoked fish and shows great promise for further development.

2012 Marc Colin Whites and Reds (SF Wine Trading Company) : Light yellow. A bit of tropical fruit followed by lemon. Lighter weight, also fairly lean with powerful acidity but very nice inner mouth herbal/floral complexity. A pretty wine that is more forthcoming than the St. Aubin Les Combes.
