Nose high in acid. Lemon, verbena, lees. Mineral. Lime rind. Floral hint. Palate almost spritzy, bit likely just acid. Mineral. Pop rocks style. It has some echoes of Chablis but so much more. (And I love Chablis). So very good and compelling. Perhaps the first wine I’ve tasted where the acid seems almost too much. But no, i love it.

Chardonnay nose, sight green plum, lime zest, slight yellow apple and earth. Palate is prickly with a bit of residual CO2, lemon juice, limestone notes. Palate is slightly creamy and almost marshmallowy without being fat. Nice and fresh but maybe not life-changing. Despite the name, acidity is not crazy; probably a 6/10. Just in case you were expecting it to rip your enamel off : )

At Oakley Wines. With a bit of spritz, this was refreshing and low alcohol. Very nice.
