This is getting close to full maturity in all the best ways. Garnet colored with rich strawberry and cherry compote. Nose is augmented with brulee and a bit of that burgundian "hair of an old, wet dog" thing, and on the palate there's a peppery bonus before picking up a bit of toffee on the finish. THIS IS WHY WE AGE PINOT NOIRS.
