Opened quite shut down. Decanted and served 2 1/2 hours later. Some fruit expression but not Grand Cru status.

Decanted for one hour and then enjoyed over two hours. Very dark in the glass. Initially still closed and not tight compared to the Grivot Beauxmonts 09 side by side. It gained in stature with more air and revealed a nice blueberry fruit with some more time in the glass. Very symmetrical but probably lacking a truly great nose and some complexity to score higher. I would recommend to cellar these for another five years and check in then.

BBR 2008 Burgundy tasting : Vey good. One of the few Grand Crus that I have understood. Is that a negative?
