Ewald Pfeiffer Bereich Bernkastel Riesling Auslese

A light honeyed flavour in the mouth, plenty of sugar and only 8% alcohol but held together with some background acidity and a hint (just a hint) of petrol. The wine went very well with an Asian meal but it is lighter than I expect from an Auslese and lacks overall complexity. 84-85pts.
