Last bottle of a half case. With white burg it’s buyer beware but these could still go a long time. Racy/electric acidity with subtle lactic undertones. Nice. More fresh than rich.

A pleaseant, well balanced wine with a nice finish but very little complexity. It could also use a bit more concentration. For a premier cru Puligny, not very impressive.

Light yellow gold. Nose of flint, apple core, soaring white flowers, citrus. Layers of crisp apple, grapefruit, white peach, dry white stone, and a hint of cream on the pristine palate. Brisk acidity and aristocratic spine. Long finish of granny apple, white citrus, and balancing pliant dry flint. Luminous, beautiful wine.

Pale yellow with glints of green. Some reduction on opening, rather nicely done. Crisp, piquant and lean from the offset, not flashy or generous, this has a genuine core of slate and rock nicely enveloped by piercing citrus and saline elements. It’s just so clean, so straight down the line, impeccably balanced - just what I want out of Puligny even in a year thought of as sub-par on the Cote. I could drink this all day, just delicious and …

Light gold hue. Nose of alpine white flowers, soothing cool white rock, sea air, citrus, granny apple. Balanced layers of apple core, grapefruit, white peach, oyster shell, and the undeniable presence of cream on the lithe palate. Bright, scintillating acidity and stony spine. Long finish of pristine white fruit and flint. A stylish wine of great character and cut.

Subtle but lovely nose of lemon, sourdough crust, preserved fruit, creamy almonds, and a hint of sea air. Very pure fruit on the palate with excellent concentration, strong acids, medium body, low alcohol (12%).

nose - fruit blossom, lime, white peach, very attractive esp as it warms mouth - peach, nectarine, fresh pit fruit, floral, very high toned fruit with hints of midpalate honey. nothing heavy or cloying going on here at all. an example of a white burg that really knows how to express itself. long acidic finish. drinking excellent and shocking this is chardonnay. this wine appears to have evolved (or i have) since last tasted.

Medium yellow. Aromas of lemon, anise, pungent roadside flowers, salt marsh. Lovely presence of sweet delicate fruit on the palate, golden acids with a bit of sparkle, aromatic vanilla back note. Long finish. 12% alcohol.

nose - hazlenutty, cream mouth - there are some rich trappings here which are almost immediately encapsulated by a searing acidity that to my palate makes this wine absolutely delicious. after a blink the smoked nuts come back into view but the 2nd wave of acidity obliterates them once and for all. Its unusual to see such an epic battle raging in ones mouth. this wine has a nervous balance that is somewhat reminiscent (to me) of good Riesling.

This is one of those times when the first sniff of a wine raises the hairs on the back of my neck and brings tears to my eyes. Listing the elements of the aroma—creamy minerality, lemon, cape gooseberries, hints of honey, cumin, and white pepper—doesn't really do justice to the exquisite and complex harmonies, like a lush passage of Debussy. On the palate the wine bristles with a crackling layer of acid within which a promise of golden fruit lies …

Medium straw. An archetypal nose offers aromas of very fresh and just ripe green apple, green pear, lemon peel, greek yogurt, dried white flowers, white toast and lots of crushed rock minerality. Medium to medium+ bodied on the palate with medium+ acid and a very crisp, almost crunchy texture. Despite all its crispness and minerality, this doesn't seem prudish; in fact the lees and oak give it a sense of generosity. In a word: mouthwatering.

Mere blomster enn 15 og mye friskere. Sitrusdrevet munn, mineralsk nøtter, bakt sitron. Herlig syre. Lekker vin. 93

Toasty tropical nose with caramel. Medium to full bodied but zesty. Powerful, citric, very tasty, and not quite as woody as the aromas suggest. Still, I would have mixed the 2 wines up and could have sworn this was the Meursault since it is large framed for Puligny.
