Rich sweet and decadent - !!! served with peking duck and lobster tail for New Years eve!!!!

The nose is amazing. It reminds me of an amaro, without the alcohol. Violet, incense, clove, rhubarb, blackberry pie. Fresh, red fruit driven, with still plenty of acidity balancing out the moderate sweetness.

Dominated by dried apricot flavors, this doesn't have the same overt sweetness as most Sauternes. Nice complexity on the palate and balanced by good acid. Really tasty, wish I had more.

Ah comme c'est plaisant d'ouvrir une bouteille comme celle-la. Je ne m'attendais à rie nde spéciale, mais ce fut une des plus belle bouteille de liquoreux bu dans les derniers 2 ans. Purplered colour legs stick to the glass. Plum, figs, raisins, blackberry jam, hint of alcohol on the nose. The palate is similar to nose with some dried pineapple. Ends with dark chocolate and blackberry. Just the right amount of sweetness. Day two. Opened up beatifully. Raising from 90 to 93.

Plum and baked berry nose with violets, cinnamon, bitter herb and some dried citrus. Sweet but balanced medium bodied palate showing slight grip and ripe dark fruit with raisiny touches. Some florality towards the dry herbaceous finish. Lengthy. Good stuff.

Pale gold and very aromatic with brown sugar, golden syrup and nuts. Rich, full and very sweet with lovely viscosity and good acidity. Great depth of flavour with apricot, sugary caramel, baked figs and sultana. Very long with lingering spicy, nutty flavours. Lovely.
