Slightly past prime. Bright opening fruit with earthy tones and a strong tannin finish. Some smoky leather.

69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 2%Petit Verdot. full black fruit aromas. a little bit of sweet barrel tones to the palate, but really quite nicely put together, not multitudes of dimension, but a solid showing. red and black fruit on the palate. Northridge Vineyard is just above the flood plain. 12-14 inches of sandy loam and then a limestone layer 4-6 inches. the plants really dig on the limestone layer.
