375cc. Opened to cook with pan-roasted halibut. Slightly pre-moxed, which i have not experienced in pouilly fume (although I dont drink a lot of these). Even so, this was drinkable and had some nice citrus, baked pear, and minerals. Perhaps bottle variation but would suggest drinking up, esp in splits.

From 375cc. Had a couple of these in the back of the box for 6 years, but never seem to have gotten to them. This is quite nice. Youthful in color and on the nose, with ripe pear and petrol. In the mouth, this is weightier than I would have expected and has a northern Italian glycerin-y element to it. Lots of mineral, oyster shells, and gunflint. Pale straw core with green tinges and a traslucid rim. The nose shows citrus, peach, cut grass and minerality. It's dry, high acid, palate confirms the nose on the flavor profile but it is hollow on the mid palate, medium + length, good wine but not special

Popped and poured. Light straw colour tending towards green. Very grassy on the nose, but also some lovely nutty and floral components coming through. Shows class on the palate with great concentration and a long refreshing finish. Not among the cheapest SB’s I have purchased, but certainly one of the best I have tasted for some time.

Open fruity nose with whitecurrant, green apple, grapefruit and lemon. Grass, herbs and nettle. Dry and medium bodied palate with crispy acidity. Lime, gooseberries, currant leaf and chalky minerality towards the refreshing aftertaste with good length. A rather nicely balanced P-F for the vintage.

Very smooth and refined on the palate but a little light/thin with a little less acidity than I was expecting, though there was nice note of fruity complexity (peaches?) trying to find its way through in the finish. Perhaps this has lost a bit of its edge over time. Still a very nice gentle wine but I was hoping for a little something more.

It begins with aromas of pineapple and gooseberry, some vegetal aromas. Then mineral tones start to dominate. On the palate fresh, mineral, elegant, well-structured and rich. Nice acidity and clean finish.

From the wine list at Aquagrill. This paired perfectly with our plate of 24 oysters. Light on its feet with a good beam of acidity and nice light fruit. Finish is clean and smooth.
