This is a wonderfully big merlot, quite smooth and well balanced. There is a lot of dark fruit, red and black flavors blend with good acids and tannins. This is tasting great right now, we are just sorry this is our only bottle.

Wine is a more mellow, even softer now that oak is better integrated, but somehow has lost some of its vigor as well. Still very nice wine, but not as exciting as first bottle.

Dense dark caramel and cocoa with underpinning of black cherry and hint of perfume. Not your sister's Merlot. Very smooth and youthful because... it is young. Oak overpowering at the moment, but will undoubtedly fade to allow more of the fruit to perform. Still excellent with a large dead cow at Churchhill's in Spokane, WA.
