Last of 12, decanted 30 minutes, damp cork, level 10mm down, previous bottles mostly very fine - mid yellow, leggy, mature not old; wonderful complex bouquet, white peach, hint of mango and pear, lemon lift, slatey minerality, hint of honeysuckle; medium, long, concentrated, very persistent, rich and caressing but properly dry, multi-layered, just starting to fade after 90 minutes so probably best to drink up but should still be ok at 35 on this splendid showing. From a pretty nice looking bottle with a 3 cm fill, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose was all wood and lemons at first. However, after 3+ hours of air it rounded out to show lemons, vanilla, apple, and white stone. In the mouth, this wine was relatively refined with lovely balance and subtle nuances.
