{screwcap, 13.1%} Plenty of yellow-straw colour for such a young wine. Fresh nose of musk and lemon detergent. Dry palate, a little chalky, with musky flavours. Gentle rather than shrieking acidity gives it a slightly phenolic grip art the front and sides of the tongue. Light-medium bodied, with a short-medium finish, it's a worthy early-drinking riesling, although not at the forefront of just how good Coonawarra riesling can be (not that there's much of it left anyway).
