Totally pineapple!! Straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of pineapple (and some other tropical fruit notes) as well as a pleasant leesy quality. Surprisingly dry with a nice bead of small bubbles and a creamy mousse. Well balanced acidity and very refreshing! More than a “novelty act,” but will never be mistaken for Champagne. Great on a hot summer day. Bring on the ham! Pleasant surprise!
