JJ Prum - 2019 range tasting "every year is a new adventure" (ChinChin Sydney) : A wildcard to have next to the 2019 GH AGK. Starting to show a more golden colour. Woody spice, mandarin, musk and showing the start of a petrol character on both the nose and palate. The palate shows some honeyed sweetness and a nicely delicate mineral profile. Probably got beat up a bit next to the delicious, powerful 2019s.

Drunk as dessert wine st a dinner with friends, no TN. Lovely balance and controlled sweetness. Playful, with fruit rather on the citrus side of the spectrum, even grapefruit, which gave it a nice contrast to the sweetness. Enjoyed it a lot.

JJ Prum - 2014 range tasting with Katharina Prum : Heady orange notes with musk, apple, coconut, mandarin, apricot and lime. Palate bursts with energy, there is sweetness but it is well contained by the trademark Graacher Himmelreich minerality. Excellent balance and interest in this bottle even in its youth.

2014 Joh. Jos. Prüm (Chicago, IL) : #18-15, 7% abv. Botrytis! Finally! There's a lovely and absolutely alluring honeyed spice quality to this wine, which, coupled with the high acidity and light fruit flavours gives this a particularly distinctive profile. It's pretty much the same wine as the GH Auslese, but with a richer, even denser profile, and a touch of botrytis thrown in. Quite compelling in its own right, and a different beast altogether, but just as exciting.

2014 JJ Prum Horizontal (Chicago, IL) : Nose: The nose is fresh and highly aromatic with a spring-time quality to it filled with white florals, pears, chalk notes, green apples, minerals, and some white peaches. Taste: Medium bodied with high acidity. The acidity is refreshing and youthful with the feel showing good density along with white florals, pears, green apples, honey, and minerals. Overall: This is a lovely, young Goldkapsel Auslese. There was a level of aromatics and density that …
