Ronco Severo Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano

Definitely in the 'orange' wine (extended skin contact) category although, the color is golden / yellow. Interesting constantly evolving nose with various fruits, licorice and honey. It has great weight in the mouth like a dessert wine but is very dry, almost menthol on the finish. Perhaps a bit too hot with the alcohol, but it bears it well. Very food friendly as is the case with many of the wines from this region.
