Cherries and plus and sweet vanilla in the nose. Rich and balanced soft palate. Very good effort and apreciated by us, a group of Burgundy and Rhone . Performed well just before and with a Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reserve from Pegau 2009 and a Trapet Chambertin 2008. One of the best pinotages in SA. Modern wine but not a boring one but one that depicts the terroir and cultivar.
