Vols Wiltinger Kupp Riesling Kabinett

First experience with Vols. Wine was much better on day two which is not the norm for most Rieslings I’ve had. Notes are from day two. Both days the nose was not expressive with hints of sappy apple, minerality and freshness. Palate shows feinherb/off dry sweetness, minerality, crisp balancing acidity and tart sappy apple profile. Nice bit of grip as well. Not complex but, very drinkable. Coming in at 11% the wine hides this well. Drinking window now – 6 …
