Nose: spices, pepper, musk, hints of red flowers, dark fruits, sour cherry, smoke, earth, mocha, cola, leather Notes: 13.5% ABV. This is quite big and intense upon opening. My experience with Laurent's 2017s has been good so far and most of them are able to open up nicely except for the Clos Saint Jacques I had. Given the nature of Negoce it is perhaps hard to identify where the grapes came from so it might be harder to judge. This …

Nose: strawberry, red fruits, spices, orange rind Notes: 13% ABV. This certainly is in very early stages of its development and I can sense some good potential here. Suchots is my preferred 1er cru from Laurent as they have always done a great job with their Suchots. The 2017s are generally quite cool and airy thus as many of them have shown early accessibility.
